| Mission Statement With pride, we offer our commitment and excellence to the Veterans of Cheboygan County who served with honor defending our nation's security, freedom, and constitution, protecting our rights as Americans. We understand that benefits vary relative to many variables from a person serving one day active duty to a person who retired from the service. We intend to offer sincere assistance by guiding, advising, and encouraging veterans and their families through the Veterans Administration's process step by step. Veterans are the reason this department exists. Our common purpose and efforts are directed toward meeting their needs. We are open to change and flexible in our attitudes. We believe that respect, integrity, trust and fairness are the hallmarks of all our interactions. We value a culture where everyone is involved, accountable, respected and appreciated. |
